At the present time (March 2012) the Guildhall museum has an exhibition featuring the painter William Bartol Thomas (1887-1947) who was born in Boston. Here are a few of his paintings.

When I raised WB with the Guildhall/Art Gallery lot last jan they knew little of him or had any of his pictures...none in the Councils Collection...He lived for many years with his sister in 107 High Street next to Robs Off Licence...the house has been going to rack and ruin for years now under the ownership of a Council Officer......typical Boston !!
